Mulwarra Lamb is premium quality Fresh Australian Range Fed Lamb and Milk Fed Lamb sourced from the prime lamb production areas of South Eastern Australia.
Our lamb is processed by two of Australia's leading lamb processors with a large number of lambs sourced directly from leading growers groups. These growers produce lamb recognised as the finest available and they ensure we have a reliable year round supply of quality lambs. All Mulwarra Fresh Australian Range Fed Lamb is sourced from New South Wales and Victoria from lambs that result in an 18-27 kg carcase weight. This weight range is then further refined to three weight grades of 18-21 kg, 21-24 kg and 24-27 kg. Weight ranged cuts are available for premium rack and loin items.
Mulwarra Milk Fed Lamb is sourced from lambs up to 6 weeks of age that have not been weaned and that have a carcase weight of 4-8 kg.
Mulwarra is also able to supply Organic Lamb on a natural fall basis. In Australia it is a requirement that if a company is to commercially market products under the organic label then the property and processing plant must be certified by a Registered Organic Organisation. Each farm supplying Mulwarra with our Orgainic Lamb is registered by the Australian Certified Organic (ACO) organisation that currently certifies more than half of Australia’s Organic Farms. The ACO is an internationally recognised organic certifying organisation, recognised by the UK Soils Association, the USDA and the Japanese Organic & Natural Foods Association, just to name a few. All our organic lamb is processed at Establishment Number 237 which is an ACO registered processor (number 10399P). All Mulwarra Lamb is available Halal on request.
